Does anyone have a DVI, USB, KVM that works good ?

I bought a belkin one and the video periodically filckers and has lines. A two station one is fine I would like dual head but the only one I have seen was pointed out by Drakino and it far too expensive.

I have found other switches with DVI but I don't know if they have the same problem.

Or if I can't find a good dvi one are there devices so I could just share the mouse and keyboard between the two computers without video.

I have a Belkin KVM (not DVI though) and used to get terrible flicker on my LCD monitor, lots of horizontal lines and interference - it was almost unusable at times. I finally worked out that I had to change the refresh rate. I can't remember the refresh rates involved, but the display is rock solid now. It might be worth experimenting with different refresh rates if you haven't ruled that out already.

But as I say, I don't have DVI or know much about it, so maybe refresh rates are irrelevant.

What did you change it to ?

On my setup, the LCD monitor has a reset function. That does the trick for me.

I can't remember what it's set to off the top of my head.

I think that it flickered like crazy at 1024x768/75Hz and now works fine at 1024x768/70Hz. The monitor is an LG-563LE 15" lcd model in case that is relevant.

When running you can move mouse from one screen to the next as if you have dual montiors, but really your keyboar, mouse, and copy/paste buffer is moving from one machine to the other - really cool stuff.

Yeah but don't you still need two monitors? Which is cool, but might not be what the OP wants.

Ironically, I do the exact opposite -- I have dual monitors on my Windows box, and I run VNC viewer full screen on one of them.
