elib new poster Registered: 18/11/2002 Posts: 4	I found that a IBM Thinkpad power supply works perfectly as an AC adapter for my thinkpad. Strong 16.6V 3.6A switching transformer works nicely, and as I work in IT in a all IBM shop, we have tons of them around. After a week of searching for a replacement for a lost power supply, I realized that I had been carrying one around with me the whole time in my laptop bag.
