There I was, half listening to the tv, volume set for comfortable listening, the commercial break comes on, at some point, I just reach for the remote and dial up the vol.

In one commercial, the volume of the announcers voice had dropped. I wasn't interested in the ad, it was just abnormally low.

The need to turn down the vol. on obnoxiously loud commercials, then back up again, is now working in reverse.

I guess this really shows how unnessary, turning up the volume is, as a way of making sure you hear the ads.
