In addition to the usual list at http://www.bluesnews.com that I follow every year, here are a couple great ones that were perpetrated by or upon close friends:

A sysadmin friend:

A friend who is embroiled in a long-standing war with the squirrels that keep ruining her garden:

The Guardian abandons print for twitter:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/apr/01/guardian-twitter-media-technology

"JFK assassin8d @ Dallas, def. heard second gunshot from grassy knoll WTF?"

From the same article:

'At a time of unprecedented challenge for all print media, many publications have rushed to embrace social networking technologies. Most now offer Twitter feeds of major breaking news headlines, while the Daily Mail recently pioneered an iPhone application providing users with a one-click facility for reporting suspicious behaviour by migrants or gays.'

Totally with you on this one. That would be a really cool bag. The head could be a built-in pillow.

Alledgely they're looking into actually producing it. It would be pretty neat tho and I'm surprised nobody else has ever done it to be honest.
