I took my Empeg apart, well putting it back to getther and getting around to figuring out where it was shorting when it was in the car. If anyone has a picture of a mk2 open with out the hard drive let me know... but under the hardrive holder on the front right side is a probably the higest thing on the board and when it would hit a bump it will bump this part and reset itself anyone know how to fix it or is it just loose and need to be resoldered?

If you can supply a picture of this "something" it would help us give you a diagnosis.

EDIT: Just had a look at the main board to refresh my memory. There's only memory and CPU along the front edge of the board: do you mean the black inductor (looks like it's made out of rubber) sticking out of the back of the display board, near the top/left?

Well if someone has a picture of the inside let me know i dont have a camera otherwise i would take a picture and show you..
