Ouch! What to say - get well soon, man! Nice to hear you are already better.

I knew that excercising in a gym cannot be good for one's health

Maybe the moral of the story is to always wear a helmet? Can you see yourself sitting at your computer with a full-face motorcycle helmet on? Well, you never know what could happen...

Get well soon!

Very much my reaction, also. It has actually taken a couple of days to sink in.

I mean, I was drinking beer with this guy not so long ago, commenting on the new, slim Mike while we admired the install on the Peugeot (the winner this year at Amersfoort, again ). How could someone so obviously healthy have something like this happen?

We are but toys for the Gods.

Mike, make sure you get better soon. I'm supposed to be doing your Mk 1, remember?

No problem, I'll paint our Honda white and stick a blue light on top. I very much hope you'll be up to driving in 8 months, but you can be sure you'll get to Amersfoort - and I'm sure others will want to volunteer too.
