Changing the send-method to broadcast worked for me.

Appears to have worked for me as well.

Thanks!

Have you gotten the internet radio streaming to work?

Yes, I have internet streaming working. What does the trio log file say? Are you getting invalid URL errors or other errors?

Looks like invalid urls. Where does the player get the radio streams from? It doesn't look like it's getting the info from jrec?

The urls are in the trio.xml. I think most of the default links are outdated. You'll have to update the links in the trio.xml with a text editor. Or if you have the web browser interface working, you can edit in there. The latter is easier and depending on when Paul did this snapshot, you might be able to just drag and drop urls onto the web interface.

Yes, I just got it working by editing trio.xml

Web interface? I didn't know it was available yet. Did I miss it on the trio website?

Doesn't look like the website has been updated for 1.4 probably since their is still testing going on.

See Dave's (basf_audio) post above for the URL.

Did you try option #1 at all (changing the send-method back to "multicast" and the multicast-ttl to "0")? I'm curious to know if this solves it (in which case I'll make it the default).

Cheers
Paul

I just did and it appears to work as well.

Point your web-browser at http://ip-addr:8090/trio-applet.htm where ip-addr is where the tRio server is running.

So... I should already have the web interface?
EXCELLENT... I'll try it when I get home.

i got 0.1.4 working with the arm server and set the url to http://ip-addr:8090/index.htm then selected control. Web interface is cool. I use shoutcast on my server pc to transmit local fm and act as a local streaming station, that worked fine too. I then used a touchscreen jukebox interface which controls winamp, that worked fine but since its only on a test pc with small database, i need to test it with a big one. I have to go down this route since i couldn't upgrade to jreceiver 0.2.5 and support has gone poor over the last few months and so need an alternative to handle a large music collection (200 gig of mp3's).
