FAQ entry
It's a right click option in emplode on the song, I forget if it works on playlists though.

In emplode, it works on almost anything. The one in JEmplode will give you more control, though.

Also make sure to read the FAQ entry that follows it, too.

OK, I remember what it is that frustrates me when DLing from the empeg. Is there anyway to preserve the playlist structure when DLing from the empeg? All I can get is all the songs of under a selection of multiple lists to DL to one directory.

IIRC you can with jemplode use the [file] naming parameters along with "\" to build a folder structure. Not necessarily the playlist structure you had (unless it was based on the tags in the first place), but at least it's not all tossed into the same directory.

Micheal is correct, Jemplode allows you to do this. If I recall correctly, you don't even need to do filename parameters with backslashes to make it happen. You only need to set filename parameters for the end-result MP3s. You can just download a playlist (by right-clicking on the playlist and hitting download) and it'll preserve that playlist's substructure as it downloads.

Oh well the damage is done I used emplode
I slected the playlists and pick download it worked but it lumped them all into one massive directory it didn't keep them in the play lists I had, not a huge issue but slighty annoying its like 1800 songs to sort.

I used to have a shareware app that would browse a folder(s) of mp3's and using mp3 tags create folders for artist and move the files but I can't find it anymore or remember what it was called.

That's what I keep overlooking. And worse yet, my Net connection is down at home, so I can't reference this info when I am at home working on backing up the empeg...

It's all I can do anymore, no Net connection means no good BF1942 battles, no newsgroups, no nothing!

I think most mp3 taggers can reorganize into folders based on tag info - at least I know that Tag&Rename can...
