I'm leaving the BBS for a couple of weeks for the UK/Amersfoort/Europe tour, and will not be responding to threads and/or emails in the interim. But anything important (like dock requests/payments) will safely pile up in my inbox for when I get back.

Have fun all, and see (quite a few of) you at Amersfoort!

Cheers

Cheers!

That'd be great!

I only just worked out (with my four bosses) that I could get out of work yesterday, so I was just starting to look at this today.

Sent ya a PM.

Okay, it's Monday night. I'm officially outta here now. I'll see some of you this weekend!

Could everyone please do me a favor and not post to the BBS for the next two weeks? I hate coming back from vacation and having hundreds of posts to skim.

What?! You expect to go off enjoying yourself on vacation _and_ for those of us stuck behind to forgo our addictions too?

You've got to be kidding me. I'm going to make a point of posting as much as possible. That'll teach you to take a laptop next time.

Just a few questions:
-Why do I get a "Hard Drive Not Found" error?
-Why are the shuffle menu items backwards?
-My shuffles don't seem to be truly random

No problem, I'll print it out and give it to him in the bar, friday night, just when he's relaxing!

1. Because you don't have a hard drive
2. You're looking at your screen through a mirror
3. Neither's the lottery

This FAQ stuff is easy, any more questions?

That fireworks photo looks so faked even to me, despite having been behind the camera at the time..

Back home, gluing docks, catching up on emails, and starting two new contracts now..

Cheers

So, are you going to reverse the "Y" and "Z" keys on your keyboard, now that you are used to the German keyboards?

As Alvin will attest, taking fireworks photos is easy with a tripod.. but of course I didn't have one with me on this trip, so I used the other approach: Shoot softly (1 sec exposures) and carry a big (flash) stick! A hundred or so photos later, and we've got perhaps five keepers!

EDIT: Oh, and.. location, location, location!.. Alvin's penthouse suite seemed to have a nice enough view!

Cheers

Oh yeah, the view is great but the neighbors are a little pushy.

Glad you made it back okay.
