I've been holding off for weeks, but the joke in my pub is that I'm the guy they push out of the bunker, when Saddam needs a double!

I dunno, but mine is still the same since when I got around to creating it. The photo is from 199.. er, 5? 6? Yeah, must be 6. Four girlfriends ago, in the days when I didn't have a beard. This is what I look like now, for the terminally curious amongst you.

Have fun,

Paul

That's because geoshitties doesn't allow images to be linked indirectly. To see the avatar, I have to browse directly to it so it's in my browser cache. Then it works.

Sheesh! Why is he doing that then? Just upload it to the board so our browsers don't have to work so hard!

Ah, is that what's doing it! Right. I'll link it to this thread.

[later] Let's see if this gets the new avatar.

LOL. Yep

For my next trivia question; Which current England International rugby player attended the same high school as Howard Jones? (Albeit a few years later). And yes, there is a connection to my previous trivia post.

I'm not sure whether to be offended or complimented

The photo was taken in one of the rare occasions where I had long hair. If I still had the original photo (now seriously crunched into the attached GIF file) I could show you that I'd just been driving for about six hours and my hair was just going everywhere.

Oh well. I'll shut up now.

Paul

Complimented, of course. Howard's "da man" for sure. I still listen to "Human's Lib" regularly.

OK, a bit late to this thread but this is actually a pic taken in 1995 (just a few years old anyway) in Carnforth (Lake District) while vacationing with the wife and visiting some family across the pond.

Just a small suggestion that you resize that image before linking it as your avatar. At the moment it's over 100KB

Testing it. Can anyone get this image smaller without losing too much of the quality?

Not by much. The attached file is 22k, your original was 34k. You be the quality judge.

Thanks! It was a ***** to make because the original video was in rm. I was forced to download Real Player! Ugh. Then I had to convert it, and it was pretty poor quality to begin with. Anyway, that's an awesome episode

"That's not funny! That's just saying what happens when you go skiing!!"
