I got that e-mail today myself. I've been getting the no hard disk found and failed to unmask IDE error messages for about a week now. So far pulling it out and pushing it back in has kept it going but knowing that I'll be a couple of weeks without it after the holidays kind of sucks. Time to pull the backup unit out of the closet and load some tunes and make sure it's going to work before the warranty runs out on it.

Now the drive is clicking <sigh>. I hope they can retrieve the music off of that drive when it goes in for service so I don't have to upload 40GB of music again.
