there is a utility (..) on the IBM website for changing the operating characteristics of the travelstar drives (..) to "quiet"
I too have a Travelstar second hard drive, which rattles more than the original (Toshiba ?) that came with the empeg. Tried to find the utility you talk about, but can't find it. Any pointers? Thanks
