Hey Everyone,

My 6 year old MKII is finally giving me problems that I can't solve. My player started freezing every once and a while over the past few days. I'm not sure if it was actually freezing, or just couldn't keep up with how fast I was FFing, but either way, it seemed to freeze a few times. The last time the player worked today, I had started the car and it said "Hard Disk Not Found". I pulled the player out and reinserted it and everything worked fine. Once I started the car again later tonight, all it will do is keep rebooting. Once it turns on, it sits on the player screen for a few seconds, then reboots. This happens in or out of the car. The only way to keep it from this constant reboot cycle is to unplug the drive. I tried reinstalling 2.0 developer, which seemed to install fine, but even after that, the problem continues.

Any thoughts? I'm running Vista, and I can't seem to get a copy of hyperterminal installed to eye the boot process.
