I'm not sure what single is out on the radio now, but on a couple songs, that's certainly the case. On others, the riffs are a lot more blistering and ballsy than any of his more polished 80s punk. And, yeah, I think the fact that it dips back into the past is a good thing, because I haven't heard any new punk acts worth listening to in a long, long time.

All music is derivative to some extent, so if you're going to borrow from the past, you might as well make it rock.
