Yeah, what he said. I'd try a RAM test next (search the faq for "ctrl-t" for directions)?


It's an easy test to do but I don't ever recall anyone ever finding dodgy RAM during that test. I would expect RAM to die early in it's life OR last a long time.

Can't hurt to try and faulty RAM could easily cause these sorts of problems. I doubt he would have got that far into the upgrade if the RAM was faulty though.
