It isn't smoking since he worked on it and he replaced the nozzel. The thing is finiky and gets worked on off and on through the winters, it just needs replaced. I have yet to be able to turn it on for the winter without having it serviced first because by the end of the heating season it has clogged back up from soot.

The same guy has been working on it the last 5 years and this is the first time he has suggested it get replaced. I tried a couple of others companies and they managed to make it worse. Over here, not too many places work on oil burners.
