Thanks to all once again!

The long story is that my darling daughter unplugged the ethernet cable in the middle of a sync..with new music...and made a mess of things

had to FSCD the discs then rebuild the database via Hyperterminal...


so far so good...in the middle of re-syncing..so all should be fine!
